What stay-at-home-mum (SAHM) do in a day?

With the end in mind,

I plan my activities by the week, instead of by the day, as I embark on my journey as a new SAHM (more on to what end I planned, go to my previous post Begin with the End in mind).

SAHM weekly schedule

Those in cursives are the main activities with my child each day. The rest are the projects I am working on. Yes I am looking out for jobs that only require, at max, 3 afternoons in a week (please give me some recommendations or referrals in the comment below!). Saturday is schedule-free day. I just do anything with my child that comes to mind.

The reason why I plan by the week is so that I don't stress myself trying to achieve many things in a day. Setting the activities each day without time, allows some flexibility (everything don't always go as plan). I can choose to switch the activities if I miss out the first part of the day. I also leave empty block of time everyday for relaxation or breathing room - such as sleeping a little longer or watch some dramas and korean varieties on VIU. 

Play with my child

I set a theme each day, so that each play or activity has more structure and focus, instead of just random play. Previously, we were painting, reading, playing drums, pet toys etc. all within 1-2 hours. It's tiring for myself, and confusing for my child. Now, if the theme that day is Music & Movement, we do anything that involves producing sounds and encourage my child moving his hands and legs--sing along with actions to Youtube videos, play piano, play pillow obstacle courses, pour game chips in and out of container etc.
